Use the budget template provided; it allows for more detail than the fourth column on the assessment tool.
Things to consider as you complete this assignment:
Use your organization’s website, audits, annual reports, or 990s in addition to your previous analysis.
Consider the organization’s mission, past and current impact, or program goals to guide the budgeting process.
Use artistic license to create line items that uphold your organization’s activities (I know you cannot know all the nitty-gritty of actual items).
What will the goal of this budget be? To correct a deficit? To create reserves? To make a capital expense? To break even? There are no wrong goals. But based on your analysis thus far, what should you hope to achieve with this budget? I can tell in the bottom line and line items you choose.
