For Discussion:
You are dispatched to a fire in one unit of a 25 unit apartment building at 1235 5th Ave. The building is 5 stories with units on each floor. There is a central corrider with 2 on the right and left side each, and 1 at the back of the hall. Behind the bulding is a large yar Yard. Narrow alleys separate the building to the right and left. Facing the building. To the right is a small community grocery store,to the left is a hardware sttore.
The apartment is in a working class neighborhood. With an elementary school opposite the firebuiling. It is 2 am on a Wednesday February 28th. It is 45 degrees and dry.
Upon arrival: the First in engine reports thick black smoke coming outo of the 2nd floor apartment on the right side:

This is a heavy volume of fire moving the structure. Primary Search has yielded 3 victims, secondary search is still underway. Request EMS and a 2nd Alarm assingment.

While searching for victims and evacuating residents the firefighters find a clandestine meth lab in an apartment. 3 victims have been taken from the firebuilding including 1 DOA (black tag) The fire has now extended to a liquour store and hardware store. What additional Resources are needed? From Law Enforcement, EMS and Fire.
All visible fire has been extinguished. There is ice on the ground from the fireighting water. All victims have been removed from the scene. there are 3 families from the apartment building who need temporary housing. A restaurant nextdoor has smoke and water damage.
