Write a personal essay in which you describe a favorite hobby of yours. What made you start this hobby? How long have you been doing it, and what do you like about it? Included detailed descriptions (use the senses).
Write a personal essay in which you describe a favorite vacation you have taken. Where was it, and what did you like about it? Included detailed descriptions (use the senses).
Essay Guidelines:
Use descriptions to evoke images in the reader’s mind. Show, don’t tell. Make it as realistic as possible.
Must be formatted according to current MLA standards:
Left name block, which includes your name, professor’s name, class, and date
Double spaced
Indented paragraphs with no extra spaces between the paragraphs
Place a page header on the top right which includes your last name and the page number
Include a unique title, centered, and located two spaces above the first paragraph of your essay.
Use Times New Roman 12 pt font.
Submit as a Word (docx) or PDF document. Do not write any text into the essay submission area.
Use essay formatting, including an introduction paragraph, body, and conclusion.
It must be a minimum of 500 words and no more than 700 words (approximately 2 full pages).
Do not use any outside sources.
