In this essay, you will be analyzing “safe states” following the 2020 election. Make sure you highlight the demographics, relevant policies, and voting habits in 2012, 2016, and 2020. Required sections: Introduction: Includes brief overview of the state and its demographics. Analysis: An analysis of this state’s voting habits in the last 3 presidential elections and the demographic and political reasons why this is the case. Conclusion: Important findings and whether you consider this state a true safe state (one that is likely to continue voting for a single party) or a state trending toward swing state (a state that swings back and forth in voting).
