The name of the assignment is called the Strategic Business Plan and I have been assigned Intuit Inc. I have done the beginning, which is the SWOT analysis. The rest that is needing help are the goals and the initiatives to assist Intuit Inc. To provide the actual words from the teacher in case it helps : “This is a follow up to your investigation of the unethical and non-socially responsible or ethical and socially responsible actions of the company you researched to consider ways to enhance its operations, reputation, human resources, financial status, and ethical behaviors. You will look into the company’s product mix (goods and services), production and distribution, competition, consumer trends, staffing, job descriptions, other relevant aspects.
Then, develop 3-4 goals you think would be appropriate for your company.
Goals are general. These must be appropriate for the company and industry and the goals must address something identified in the SWOT. Consider goals that address human resources, consumer trend influences, competitor influences, and technology. A goal is a general thought, such as increase market share.
Last, you will propose 3 strategic initiatives.
Consider: internal and external initiatives by evaluating elements of the SWOT, human resources, consumer trend influences, competitor influences, product development, product design, production and distribution expansion or contraction, technological impacts, and workforce and workplace excellence.
The chosen initiatives must align with the general goals you developed.
Example of a goal and a strategic initiative: goal = increase market share; some of the strategic initiative options associated with the goal of increasing market share = introduce a new product (explain), or enter a new market (where), or acquire a competitor (who), or run a promotion (explain).”
