You are going to develop a three-day lesson plan for your previous classroom. Look back at your curriculum guides and choose a lesson that you have taught. I teach 7th grade science. You will need to improve a lesson plan, reflect on your previous teaching, reflect on the previous assessment to make improvements and report assessment results to help you in improve the lesson the lesson.

The lesson plan template attached below is required to ensure you have included all of the required elements of the Capstone project. The lesson plan template will be used as a continuous working document that will be submitted three times throughout the course.

Required components to include in your lesson plan:
Considering the need to meet a variety of student learning styles and the language needs of ELLs
Five Standards of Effective Pedagogy
Both field dependent and field independent learners
Two or more of the multiple intelligences as indicated in your readings
As you address a specific learning style in your description, identify it in the plan and provide a written explanation of why the activity meets that style. Note where you have addressed the Five Standards of Effective Pedagogy. In most cases, one activity may meet both a standard and learning style needs.

Assessment – Include a student assessment in the lesson. Note any modifications made due to ELL considerations. Your final document will include a copy of the administered assessment.
Teach the lesson to your class. Be aware of the learning styles of your students and note their responses to the lesson.
Reflect on the lesson at the end of your plan and provide the assessment results. Include a narrative of how the lesson went, and how it improved your instructional practices. Indicate if you would make any changes.
Your completed document will include:
a 3-day lesson plan with an expanded description of the procedures that will include how you are teaching based on the Five Standards of Effective Pedagogy and learning styles,
a student assessment (administered copy of the assessment can be a picture or a scanned copy),
assessment results,
a reflection that includes not only your thoughts, but also your students’ responses to the lesson,
a reflection for each standard: how did you included the Five Standards of Effective Pedagogy (Week 3) into your lesson plan.
