Please DO NOT choose a story that we have already discussed in class. If you do, you will be asked to rewrite the paper, and you risk failing the assignment entirely. Here is the general question you should answer in your thesis: What main theme (you decide what it is after reading the story) connects directly to one of these:

The sun symbolizes the deterioration of love as the narrator first describes the sunlit room as bright; however, as the story progresses the sun leaves entirely, and the idea of love becomes dismal as well. Your sources will come from a legitimate website, book, or an article from our library’s database. Please check your sources with Kassie if are concerned they are not academic.
