Should policies change or remain the same regarding use of force? What is excessive force?) The status of incarcerated juvenile offenders amidst the pandemic Comparative case analysis of the murders of Adam Toledo and Ma’Khia Bryant In your papers, you will want to address your topic to the reader with background information and explanation. You will define what your topic is, provide a synopsis of your topic, any enduring understandings or lessons you want the reader to take away, challenges that your topic has encountered and how the current juvenile justice / juvenile justice system should handle these issues or should the juvenile justice system or juvenile justice be reformed in any way (if so, how and by whom?). You will want to also discuss how your topic affects / integrates with social justice and any possible solutions for long lasting reform. You must use no less than 3 sources to incorporate in your paper. At least 2 sources must be in written form, (such as an online article, an article in a journal) and should provide a critical analysis that supports or challenges your paper’s main idea or thesis statement. One source can be an audio-visual format (Youtube video, podcast episode, image, etc.) APA citations are strongly recommended. The paper can be no less than 3 pages, double spaced, Times Roman or Arial font only (12 font). Microsoft Word or PDF will be the only format accepted. There should also be a reference page at the conclusion of your paper. Neither the title alone page or reference page counts toward the 3 page count requirement.
