To summarize your innovative solutions and the critical analysis of existing literature, policy,
and interventions that informed them with the guidance of theory, this last chapter of your MCP
should include:
A summary of your critical analysis of existing research (i.e., lit review), policy, and
practice (i.e., social intervention). Make sure to explain how your chosen theory informed
your process of identifying strengths and limitations within policy and practice.
A summary of your innovative solutions in the areas of policy and practice. Your
summary should connect with the gap you identified within existing literature and reflect
application of your chosen theory
A discussion of the strengths and limitations of your final project including possible
implications of your innovative solutions on your target population including their risk
for experiencing the social problem and the ways in which the social problem manifests
A discussion of the possible implications of your innovative solutions on social work
research, policy, and practice
A concluding paragraph with final project reflections.
Note: Chapter 6 is a A thoughtful summary of the social issue, existing research, theoretical applications, policies, and interventions. Summary of one’s critical analyses of the social issue within research, policy, and practice including amendments, additions, and adaptations required to meet the needs of one’s target population. No new citations required—content should be mostly original thoughts and ideas. This is a addition to chapter 1-5. Please add to the information in chapter 6.
