Assignment Details:
This week will focus on developing a financial plan with recommendations for your company based on the Management’s Discussion and Analysis of Financial Conditions and Results of
Operations section of the Annual Report.
This section includes an analysis of the company’s performance conducted by executives. The section can also include a discussion of compliance, risks, and future plans, such as goals and new projects.
Management’s Discussion and Analysis of Financial Conditions and Results of Operations section provides current expectations of future events based on certain assumptions and includes forward-looking statements.
In this project, you will review the Management’s Discussion and Analysis of Financial Conditions and Results of Operations section for your previously chosen company and prepare a presentation highlighting company’s operating performance, financial performance, accomplishments, and your recommendations.
Prepare a PowerPoint presentation of 10-12 slides with 250-word speaker notes per slide addressing the following:
Brief description of your company, its products and services, and its market.
Analysis of operating performance.
Analysis of financial performance.
Highlights from the most recent fiscal year.
Qualitative and quantitative recommendations for the upcoming year based on your findings.
