Overview This project proposal provides an opportunity for you to choose a case

Overview
This project proposal provides an opportunity for you to choose a case study and identify a related professional code of ethics and ethical framework. This proposal also builds toward Part One and Part Two of the project, in which you will expand on these responses  to analyze and reflect on the case based on the code of ethics and ethical framework.
Your case study should come from the course textbook. Review the guidelines when choosing your case study in the Supporting Materials section. The case study you choose should be related to the professional code of ethics you also choose in this assignment and will provide the background for your work on the project. Consider these examples:
If you chose a case in a healthcare environment or focused on a health issue, you may want to select a code of ethics from healthcare or nursing.
If you chose a case involving a workplace, consumers, corporate social responsibility, or sustainability, you may want to select a code of ethics from business.
Directions
For your project proposal, you must address the following criteria:
Identify a case study from the Supporting Materials section of this assignment.
Identify a professional code of ethics from a profession or organization that is related to the case study you select in this assignment. This is the code of ethics you will use in your project.
An internet search with keywords including the profession or organization and code of ethics is a good place to start. For examples of professional codes of ethics, consider the following:
American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics
American Medical Association (AMA) Code of Ethics
American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses
American Psychological Association (APA) Code of Conduct
American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) Code of Ethics
Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct
Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) Code of Conduct
National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics
National Education Association (NEA) Code of Ethics for Educators
National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) Code of Ethics for Engineers
Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) Code of Ethics
Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Code of Ethics
Explain how this professional code of ethics informs decision making within the context of your case study.
What is the purpose of this professional code of ethics?
How does it support decisions?
Explain what makes the code of ethics you chose applicable to your selected case study.
Identify the origin of this professional code of ethics.
Consider the history of your chosen professional organization.
Explain which ethical principles are most important to this professional code of ethics, and why.
Refer to the list of ethical principles in the Module Two Guide.
Identify a possible ethical framework that includes these ethical principles.
Consult the list of five ethical frameworks described in the Module One Guide.
What to Submit
Submit your project proposal as a 1- to 2-page Microsoft Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. You must cite the case study, ethical framework, and the professional code of ethics and any sources regarding its origin/history. If other sources are used, follow APA citation guidelines when citing sources both throughout and at the end of your paper.
