My Community Event I went to:
On July 3rd, I attended a rodeo in Cannon Falls, MN. The rodeo consisted of barrel racing and bull riding. Every year, Cannon Falls has its fair from July 1st to 4th, with food, games, rides, and events. This is the first year there was a rodeo, and I am happy I went. I chose this specific event because I love watching rodeos and spending time with family and friends. A negative takeaway from this event would be that some people could get seriously hurt. During the event, a man got his foot stuck in the stirrup of the saddle; the horse fell on top of him for about 7 seconds and then kicked the man in the head when getting up. The man was knocked out cold for a minute but then got up and walked away just fine. A positive takeaway from the event would be that everyone from the community came together and bonded over something we all enjoy. I recommend that others attend this event because it is fun to watch, there is great music to listen to, and amazing people are around.

· Demonstrate the importance of the event.
· What were some key learning, ideas, or experiences from the event?
· Conclusion, including how you can use this experience to help you in your future criminal justice related career.
Your paper should be 3-4 pages long, double-spaced, and does not need an abstract. You should write in first person since these are your opinions and your reflection. You will need to connect this reflection paper to your defining community reflection and the academic sources included with that paper.
