Each section is required to be a certain length as noted in each explanation
In addition to the HGM guidebook and the case study, seek out supporting research in the academic literature. Once you have reviewed your materials, prepare a 3-4 page double-spaced paper addressing the following:
HGM Functions: Identify the region and wetland resource. Then present the wetland functions included in the HGM evaluation. Include details so the reader understands which functions are measured and which variables are used in the Functional Capacity Index for each wetland function. This section should be @1 page in length.
Location and Challenges: Where is the case study project located? Why was this location chosen? Were there any particular challenges associated with the site? This section should be @0.5 pages in length.
Reference Conditions: Are any reference conditions or sites mentioned in the case study? Were these taken into account when designing the project? (The answer may be no… this is a valid response if this is the case but it should be clearly stated.) This section may be 1-3 sentences in length.
HGM in the Case Study: Explain how the HGM evaluation can be integrated into the case study. Propose a monitoring schedule to do so. It is unlikely HGM evaluation was part of the case study, so the idea here is that you, as a restoration practitioner, are integrating this approach into the project. This section should be @1 page in length.
Evaluating Success: What does it mean for a wetland restoration project to be a “success”? This section should be @1 page in length and should demonstrate your mastery of course concepts related to evaluation and success.
Write in a professional tone for an academic and scientific audience. Always credit authors and reference sources for their ideas and information. Follow APA style format. The reference list does not count towards the total page length.
Include intext (Parenthetical citations) in addition to the reference page. Include both the attached documents and sources in the paper writing.
