Based on what you have read over the course of the semester, this thinking paper will require you to analyze the portrayal of crime victims in a true crime series (e.g., Dateline 2020, Homicide Hunter, Unusual Suspects, Cold Case Files, etc.).
Using the text as evidence for your claims, you will take a position on how these portrayals affect public perception of victims and the implications for victim support services. Finally, you will provide your own reflections on how media representations of victim can be improved.
Questions that need to be answered about your selected episode:

Briefly (in one paragraph) detail the incident by which the victim came to harm (15 points);
Explain the relationship between victim and the person suspected / found to have caused the harm (10 points);
