General Formatting:
As with all of your assignments, please make sure that your paper is double spaced and uses either Times New Roman or Calibri 12-point font. Your paper should also have 1-inch margins.
Instructions:  I put the example under the message ( annotated bibliography PowerPoint)
For this assignment, you will begin thinking about how you will approach your final paper and practicing your ability to search for, read, and summarize academic articles. You are in charge of finding your own articles related to the topic you want to adapt one of your assignments for in your final paper for the course. You should consider two to three major themes (as discussed in lecture) to organize your article search and final discussion around. This paper should be a five-page (approximately 1000 word) annotated bibliography of three to five sources. Please note that each source should have at least about a page dedicated to it. Select the (peer-reviewed!) academic articles that you want to look at on two to three themes (aspects or angles of the topic or problem) relevant to the broader topic. For instance, if you want to focus on gender in popular culture, you might focus on video games as a specific site and what we see in terms of (1) representation and (2) presence in production. To complete this assignment, list your sources and summarize the article information below the citation. You want to summarize the entire article in your own words, from their methods to the findings to the conclusion. Highlight major points that could be useful for your final paper.
It is okay if this changes between now and the end of the course! The main concern here is practicing with articles. Please note that your articles should be published since 2005, but it is best if you can located articles published since 2010. Additionally, based on our discussion of methods and information presented in your Social Science Research text, assess the methods of the articles you have chosen as part of your discussion.
