Read over the literature review (everything in yellow highlight) of the added file “e.g. diss 1” which is a dissertation on fan perceptions of competitive balance in the English Premier League (Football) and provide a new detailed 2750 word literature review that is similar to the one added although made relevant to my topic (fans perceptions on competitive balance in the NBA).
This is a literature review for me to use to complete the rest of my final year disserataion. It is crucial that you read over the example literature review for guidance and what should be included (and for a couple of sources as the topics are very similar although do not directly plagarise).
My topic is to investigate NBA fans current
perceptions of competitive balance in the NBA, how important they consider
perceived competitive balance to be and how changes to competitive balance
could impact future fan engagement in terms of their interest in basketball and
intentions to watch the NBA on tv and online. (Although some sources used in the Lit review can talk about the willingness to buy a ticket and go to the game as this falls under my topics interest)
You are expected to find academic studies that relate to my topic (this can include other top sports such as NFL, NHL, football if there aren’t any studies on fans perceptions of competitive balance or just competitive balance and the implications of changes to competitive balance for retaining
fan engagement for the NBA).
For more context the literature review you provide will then help me find gaps in the literature and then i will create a survey to then send out and collect quantitative data on fans perceptions to then analyse to complete my dissertation. Also please note you will need to be able to access scholary and academic articles for this literature review.
