For this project, you will choose to interview two different adults in two diffe

For this project, you will choose to interview two different adults in two different developmental stages: (a) Late Adolescence (19-25 years), (b) Early  Adulthood (26-35yrs), (c) Middle Adulthood (36-60yrs), (d) Late Adulthood (61-75yrs), and (e) Oldest-Old Elderhood (75yrs & up). *A bonus point will be given to students who are able to interview an adult in the oldest-old elderhood stage.* Students are to interview adults in a developmental stage different from their own (i.e., if the student is in early adulthood, the student will not interview an adult in early adulthood). Upon conclusion of the interview, students will outline the following factors throughout their adults’ childhood and adult development: Risk Factors, Resilience Factors, Major Stressors/Trauma, and Developmental Stages they met or failed to meet (students must cite at least 3 theorists, particularly when discussing childhood stages). Students are to ensure the interview is non-intrusive and important. Do not ask direct questions related to a trauma; rather, use the interview as a way to understand your adults’ life histories and experiences. Asking them to reflect upon their life timeline can be helpful. Students will write approximately 2-3 pages summarizing each interview (for a total of 4-6 pages for both interview and factor descriptions).
*Please do the “interview” of the oldes-old elderhood about an old woman that grew up in Jamaica and had 3 children, but her husband was an alcoholic. * Please be mindful of theculture, i come from a caribbean (jamaican) background*
Students will use information gathered from the interviews to compare and contrast the two different stages of adult development based on the findings. Points should demonstrate critical thought and depth. Students will conclude the paper by reflecting upon their own current stage of adult development and the similarities/differences between that stage and the stages of the two adults they interviewed; these points should also demonstrate critical thought and depth. References should be related to child and developmental theorists, but students may also choose to include additional references.
