Work on the topic of your argument paper (or any other topic of your choice) and extend your argument into a research paper through some primary research.  Complete the following tasks as discussed in class on Monday, April 1, 2024.

• You must make your questions specific and align them with your research questions. 
Interviews (semi-structured interview) 
• You can use semi-structured interviews in qualitative research design.
• You need to specify what data you expect from the interview. 
• Put down a list of questions you must ask during the interview. 
• You must make your questions specific and align them with your research questions.   Work with the topic of your choice, preferably the topic of your argument paper, and write a research paper in 8-10 pages.
You must state a researchable problem in the introduction, along with the background information of your topic.
Literature Review: Once you state your research problem in the introduction section, write a review of the relevant literature. In your literature review, you need to establish what work previous researchers have done to address the research problem you have stated in your introduction. You may also include the definitions of any key concepts that must be explained to the readers to help them understand your research effectively. Through your literature review, you must establish that previous researchers have yet to solve the research problem and that further research is needed.
Research questions: The literature review must end with 2 to 3 research questions you aim to address.
Methodology: Once your literature review is in place, which justifies your research problem by grounding it in existing research, you can state your research methodology.
Your methodology section begins with describing the research approach you have adopted, qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods.
Describe the data collection tools you have adopted to collect the data needed to answer the research questions. (Survey, questionnaire, interview, observation or any secondary data)
After that, explain the data analysis procedure you adopted to analyze the data you gathered.
Results: After analyzing your data, you will arrive at some results. Present the refined version of your results in the results section and interpret those results for the readers in light of your research question.
If you adopt a quantitative research approach, you will have charts, tables, and graphs as results.
If you adopt a qualitative approach, you will have themes and categories as results, which need to be presented along with the excerpts from the raw data (e.g. interview transcript) as representative examples.  
Discussion: After you present your results with interpretation, you can officially discuss how your key findings have answered your research questions. You can also compare your findings with the previous research studies you mentioned in your literature review.
You can also point out some implications and any limitations of your research.
Conclusion: Finally, you present the conclusions of your research, make some generalizations and give ideas for further research in your topic.
