All students will watch the Librarian recording, Introduction to Academic Writer, located in the Assignment 2 area in Canvas. Students will use Academic Writer to create their annotated bibliographies for this assignment. Your preferred topic, which should be your choice, must directly relate to your concentration in the EdD program.
When you access Academic Writer, you must add your EDD 8100 professor as a “collaborator,” so your professor can see your progress. See a few example topic ideas below (these are just examples; pick a topic that resonates with you within your specialization):

In addition, annotated bibliographies are covered in the APA 7th edition Manual (Sections 9.51 & 9.52), and a sample is provided on page 308. Students must provide an introduction to their topic, as the peer-reviewed articles should be based on your selected concentration/field of interest. Students must utilize four (4) peer-reviewed articles for this assignment. Each annotation should have a word count between 150-175 words. The peer-reviewed articles should be based on your selected concentration/field of interest. The assignment must be submitted as an MS Word document.
