COVID-19 is but one circumstance that has impacted an organization’s ability to obtain and retain the best talent in the marketplace. It does not appear that the search for talent will become easier in the future either. Therefore, the best human resource departments are increasingly viewed as those that can obtain and retain the best talent.
You have been tasked to create a one-page infographic, which will be published on several social media platforms. The purpose of this infographic is to encourage applicants to consider your organization as a future employer. In your infographic, address all of the following questions:
Choose an organization that you are familiar with, whether that be a current, a former employer, or one you would like to work for.
The infographic should overtly “sell” your company to prospective applicants and employees. Choose, throughout your infographic, the statistics and metrics that best represent and “sell” your company to your audience. In your infographic, you may consider highlighting compensation and benefit details, growth opportunities within your organization, details about the growth of your industry, growth of your profession, etc.
Importantly, your infographic must have at least 2 credible sources that best promote your organization. For instance, “According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (Year), the number of cosmetologists is expected to rise by 2024,” or “The Wall Street Journal (Year) states the semiconductor industry will grow by X%…”
It is critical that your infographic is visually stunning, colorful, vibrant, and captures the interest of your audience.
