The purpose of this assignment is to reflect on your participation in co-curricular activities this semester, such as research lectures, workshops, events for One Book, One College, art exhibits, concerts, and so on. MLO 3.5 Evaluate commonalities in scholarly inquiry and approach across disciplines and experiences (REFLECT). 
Instructions
For this assignment, you will compose a short essay about the co-curricular events you attended or participated in during this semester. You should not simply summarize the content of the event, but consider how it fits in with your experience at FSW and in this course, as well as the patterns of scholarly inquiry you can recognize across multiple events and courses. Your short essay should contain the following elements:
A brief summary of at least two co-curricular events you attended, including the day/time, the speaker, and the activity;
A sense of your own reaction, thoughts, perspectives, and feelings to the events,
A reflection on the common intellectual and scholarly practices you saw at the events. Some questions to guide you on this section are below.
How did the speaker approach his or her topic? What question or problem was the speaker/leader attempting to address? What method(s) did the speaker/leader employ? How did the speaker/leader connect his or her work and the event to broader issues, the community, and/or personal experiences?
Your short essay should be at least 500 words, neatly presented, and conform to MLA, APA, or Chicago style.
