You will create a step-by-step plan for implementation, including the support needed for the teaching staff and other stakeholders. Part 1: The Problem or Change

Examples include but are not limited to, curriculum changes, introducing a new child assessment system, a family engagement program, adding a new form of programming or service, a physical facility change, and implementing a new child guidance model or professional development system. In Part 1, you will discuss why this initiative is needed and provide a brief summary of the background of this program. In your response, please discuss any sections of the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct that apply to this situation.
Part 2: The Setting and Stakeholders
Describe the setting for this project. Provide a description of the organization and the key stakeholders for the initiative. Any organizational change impacts many stakeholders. In part two, you will identify those involved in this change, their roles in this project, and how they will be impacted. Describe your role in this process. This could be based on your current professional role or a role you hope to perform. Consider the concepts included in chapters 4 and 5 of your text.

Here, you will describe the steps involved in implementing this change. In this section, you will outline the steps involved in this initiative. You will include a timeline as well as a description of the activities involved.

Describe how the competencies included in your text will be used during this project.
Part 5: Assessment/Follow-Up How will you assess the success of the initiative? Discuss how you will assess the effectiveness of the initiative. How could it be modified if needed?
