study below, discuss the cancer management and holistic care that would be
available, highlighting both the role of radiotherapy and the supportive role
of the therapeutic radiographer.

Family History:
The patient lives
with his partner and two children (aged 10 and 8).
Family History: The
patient’s biological father was previously diagnosed with prostate cancer. His
paternal grandfather died of prostate cancer.
Other Information:
The patient is fit and healthy and has no accompanying symptoms due to his
diagnosis. He was referred to a urologist following a routine health check
which revealed he had a PSA of 9 ng/ml. He is very keen to maintain his active
lifestyle and sexual function.

This is not included in the overall word count. Ensure you follow the school

page). A minimum of 12 reference sources (utilising peer-reviewed resources
where possible), should be included within your assignment and subsequent
reference list. A bibliography is not
required. The essay and reference list should be submitted as one document.
