This project should include an evidence-based assessment on a subject matter and grade level of your choice that you create that allows you to analyze the patterns of learning for the whole class and the differences for groups or individual learners the data from the assessment. The questions created for this assessment should incorporate measurable verbs of Bloom’s Taxonomy to address each level of question created. You want to design each question labeling each question with what level of Bloom’s Taxonomy it addresses. It should also include a justification of the design of the assessment in a separate document that explains and describes how you would analyze the data based on the level of questions that you have created and the use of academic language. You want to consider how learners will demonstrate understanding and mastery of the skill, choose a standard that your assessment should align to and explain how it aligns, how you will address students that struggle, common errors that might be made, confusions and need for greater challenge in your analysis. In this explanation of the assessment design, you want to address what research supports your decisions in the design. How will you support students with the feedback that you give them to guide their improvement or a better understanding of the skill? This project should have an evaluation tool such as a rubric and the criteria for the evaluation tool that is supported by research.
