hi i am a 19 year old collage stundent in a jewish collage can you please help me write my essay here are the directions please make sure to include all the sources neeeded please dont try to mske it sound so fancy bit definetly profesional and thought out thank you   here are the direc tions Midterm Paper- Using our Experiences to Effectuate Change
The purpose of this assignment is to think about Culture & Diversity  from a positive perspective and to explore ways to advance the goal of true equality.
Assignment:
Think back about an experience in your life in which you overcame a bias, stereotype, or prejudice.
What happened? (meaning, describe the scenario, story, incident, event, etc.)
How did you overcome your bias, stereotype, or prejudice in that situation? (meaning, what was the realization that you had that enabled you to overcome your bias, idea that you had, challenge that you undertook, etc.)
What did that teach you about overcoming a bias, stereotype, or prejudice?
How did that change how you view these issues? (or, if it didn’t change your view on these issues, why not?)
Is there something about your experience that taught you a larger lesson that you can impart to others? (Make believe that you are speaking at a conference about these issues; what would be your “therefore…”? Feel free to be creative—you can always shelf this plan if you end up speaking at a real conference.)
If you never had such an experience yourself, talk to someone that did have such an experience and answer these questions from their perspective. (Doing it this way may require you to interview someone…which can be fun).
The essay should be double-spaced and between 1,400 to 2,000 words. You must cite 3 scholarly articles (If using material that is not part of this course’s required or recommended reading, the citation(s) must be to a scholarly journal.)
*** Reminder: Please make sure to comply with the rules of the mid-term. It should be an essay not a question-answer paper (so don’t just respond to each of the sub-questions). If you focus more on one of the questions and even miss 1-2 of the other ones, that’s okay. It is not meant to be rigid; rather, it is meant to get you to think about these things in a constructive and positive way. By doing this exercise, you may realize that the greatest resource to understanding these issues is you your own mind and heart. Use meaningful citations that give value to what you are writing; satisfy the word-count requirements.
Grading Rubric:
Reflection (60%)- I will be looking for thoughtfulness in your response.
Writing style/grammar (30)- Your paper must be written in a clear and organized fashion. Please use complete sentences, proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Proper APA citations (10%)
THERE IS A RUBRIC IN THE “RUBRICS” TAB.
