Step 1: Review the rubric for this activity located below. The rubric explains how you will be graded on this activity. If you have questions about the rubric or grading process, please reach out. 
Step 2: For this project, you will observe people at a stage of development of your choosing with the goal of seeing a developmental concept in action. You may choose to observe only one individual or any numbers of individuals in a group. If you observe others in a public place, please be inconspicuous. In other words, please don’t stalk or interact with people you don’t know. 
Step 3: 
Write a 3 – 4 page paper that:
Identifies the concept or phenomenon you observed
Briefly describes the conditions of your observation (Where were you? Who were you observing? etc.)
Describes the behaviors/actions you observed in detail
Explains how the behaviors/actions you observed exemplifies the concept or phenomenon you observed
Notes your reactions to the observation (Was it what you expected? Was it consistent with what you learned in class? Did your observation give you additional insight? etc.)
Step 4: Make sure to uses APA style to cite your sources (at least 3 academic sources) and include a reference list of each of your sources.
