You have been commissioned by the Ministry of Justice to write a report on effective multi-agency working to achieve Justice – as a core aim of the Criminal Justice system.
You must write a 1,500 word (+/-10%) report evaluating multi-agency responses from the list below. As part of your report , you should consider the idea of ‘justice’, whilst comparing and contrasting each agency’s approach in achieving ‘Justice’ for the victims, offenders, and wider society. In so doing, you may consider the philosophies of punishment and the agency’s aims/purpose in relation to the Criminal Justice System’s aim of achieving ‘Justice’. To do this, the report is divided into two tasks.

Task 1: Evaluating multi-agency arrangements
You need to:
Illustrate an understanding of the aims, purpose, and functions of the framework of your choice.
Some questions you could answer when doing this are:
What are the different agencies involved in the multi agency arrangement?
What are their aims and objectives and how do they relate to the Criminal Justice System?
Why are they involved together and what is their particular contribution to the work?
Task 2: Achieving ‘Justice’
In this task you need to apply the concept of ‘justice’ to your chosen agencies in their pursuit for achieving justice for the victims, offender, and wider society.
Some questions you could answer when doing this are:
What are the aspects of justice this multi agency framework is trying to achieve and for whom? Does this arrangement focus solely on either victims, criminals or the wider community or does it have a range of responsibilities?
What are the strengths and weaknesses of multi-agency working and how effective is this framework in achieving their aims and purpose?
Structure
This artefact is a report, therefore it needs to be structured as such.

Title Page
Table of Contents (this should be auto-generated)
Executive Summary (Similar to an abstract. Summarise the findings here). This section is optional, however you would normally find one in a report.
Introduction (This is similar to an introduction to any other essay – explain the overall topic and set the scene for the rest of the report. Body (The main part of the report. Both tasks will be added here, using sub-sections for each task. They should be written academically as in any other essay)
Conclusion (As any other conclusion – brings together all the main information in the report).
