you will imagine you are consulting your chosen business, delivering them a video that introduces a plan on how they can develop their purpose driven business further. There will be seven sections of your video listed below. You will be assessed on your ability to provide critical analysis and sophisticated recommendations through the medium of a professional video.
1) Introduction
Provide a brief overview of your video, and what it will cover, and briefly recap key details about the business.
2) Proposed Purpose Statement
Write a purpose statement that you recommend the business to adopt. Use the formula we provide in class; “We exist to (desired impact), through (unique action) to (impact/influence society for the better or have impacts on the people we serve)”
Explain briefly why you have chosen this purpose statement and all elements. As a recommendation, how is your improved statement stronger at aligning with the business values?
3) Proposed Organisational Culture
Describe and recommend a chosen organisational culture that will help the business to achieve the overall purpose. Explain why this organisational culture is appropriate. Use research and/or examples from other leading businesses to prove that this organisational culture will be successful.
4) Proposed Leadership Style
Describe and recommend a chosen leadership style that will help the business to achieve the overall purpose, and that aligns with the recommended organisational culture. Explain why this leadership style is appropriate. Use research and/or examples from other leading businesses to prove that the leadership style will be successful.
5) Proposed Branding Strategy
Describe and recommend a branding strategy that will help the business to showcase their overall purpose. Explain why this branding strategy is appropriate and how it will appeal to, and help attract customers.
6) Conclusion
Write a brief conclusion that summarises your key points and reinforces your main recommendations. Finish with impact!
7) Reference List
Provide a full reference list in alphabetised order, in APA7 style formatting. Anything that appears on the reference list must also have appeared in the presentation. Make sure you have in-text references throughout your video if you directly quote any text, statistics or data or reference another author’s idea.
