Dissertation Summary:
Agile is an umbrella for a group of frameworks and practices based on the principles of the Agile Manifesto. The major value in Agile Development is that it enables teams to deliver value faster, with greater quality, predictability and greater aptitude to respond to change. The scope of this thesis is to analyze those principles, values and examine the most common frameworks, especially Scrum which is an iterative, incremental approach to optimize predictability and to control risk. Furthermore, the vital benefits of adopting Agile Project Management like flexibility, continuous improvement, great communication and engagement etc. will be investigated and discussed.
A case study will be included which will point out the methodologies, practices and ideas that can be used to build Agile teams in a Software Development Company and to increase their productivity using Scrum framework.
