This assignment will require that you have delivered your education at the community agency. Please address the following:
Briefly summarize your population and the educational topic chosen. (I chose the veteran population and visited the VA home in Payson, UT. You have done other assignments on this subject for me. And the educational topics were ketamine treatments and bereavment groups).
How did your audience react to your presentation? (The audience acted interested in the treatments, but more interested in the bereavment groups.)
What was the result of your evaluation plan? (The result of my evaluation was successful. I got my point across and was able to present to a couple of veterans personally, that Ketamine treatments can help when received properly.)
How will your education improve the outcomes of the population? (It will help veterans become more comfortable in every day to day life, and have better relationships with people).
What went well? (The conversation and presentation to the veterans went well, and the facility was amazing to work with. Shelly was great to work with and very professional.)
What could you have done better? (Talked to more veterans about the Ketamine treatments and get the word out there).
What advice would you give to a student who will be doing this project in the future? (Have a vulnerable population picked out sooner. It was hard to choose a community then find a facility that is willing to get back to you quickly and work with you through the project.)
