You have written the proposal paper for this final paper. I will attach the proposal you
wrote for me here as a file for reference. You have chosen to focus on the
topic of “Wilderness in North America.” The professor has given me feedback on the
proposal you wrote, I will attach the feedback here as a file to view. You MUST take
all of his feedback in consideration when writing this 13-page paper. He will specifically
be looking for if you take all of his words into account when writing this paper.
There are a lot of guidelines for this paper. you must read each one and make sure
you include every single requirement. I uploaded the Garrad and Soper reading files.
I also added an additonal reading from my course to include “Borlik – Literature and
Nature”
You must use the same sources, and I have also uploaded a file with ALL of the guidelines
for this paper. Please read all the directions and make sure you hit every guideline
requirement. He grades very strictly and checks for plagiarism. Garrard and Soper
sources MUST be incorporated within the final paper’s discussion. In addition, to
using Garrad and Soper, you must reference six other sources and three of the sources
must be scholarly works. You have found two and included in within the proposal paper’s
work cited. In addition to Garrard and Soper, each paper must integrate material from at
least six other sources; at
least three of these sources must be scholarly works not read in common this semester (that is: these
would be scholarly sources discovered through your own research), and at least one must be a source
referenced by Garrard or Soper (as you were reading both authors, there were likely numerous works
that they referenced that
struck you as ones that you’d potentially be interested in reading — so choose
one or more of those; in the final paper, make note in a footnote or endnote, or in the body of the paper,
which source(s) come from Garrard or Soper). Within the sources of your own choosing
(the scholarly
sources that are not sources from class, and the source(s) referenced by
Garrard or Soper), at least one
must be a book (or from a book), and at least one must
have a publication date of 2009 or later; these
requirements are not mutually exclusive –
you might use a book published in 2014 to satisfy both
requirements.
