This
assignment incorporates your new knowledge from Unit 1 pertaining to
organizations and workplace culture including the ethical and legal
environment. Additional topics include both communicating and planning to include
key stakeholders as you address policy matters. For this project, you will
incorporate systems theory, to improve your identified policy issue (identified
in Week 2 assignment) that affects the organization and/or community.
o
Introduce your
conceptmap by identifying your chosen policy topic that will influence an
organization and/or community issue impacting quality,financial outcomes,
and/or access for patients.
o
Using systems theory,
create a concept map for the improvement process of your project. Be sure to
include all stakeholders including other disciplines that will be involved.
o
For each individual or
discipline involved, include in the concept map box how that person/discipline
is affected by the topic and/or outcome of the policy.
o
Include citations on the
concept map for the sources that support your topic.

This assignment will be
a 4-page document including a cover page, introduction page, concept map page,
and reference page.
o
Follow APA 7th ed
format.
o
The first
page is the title page.
o
The second
page is a concise, written
introduction explaining your findings, which addresses the topics above.
o
The third
page is your concept
map.
o
The fourth
page is your reference
page
o
Use Lucid chart or
another tool such as Word/PPT/VIsio to create your concept map for your
improvement process plan.
o
Make sure you export
your concept map in PDF format for uploading to Blackboard.
o
Submit your explanation
and concept map as one document.
o
Any uploaded document to
Blackboard must be in one of the following formats:
