For this component of your Summative you will be tasked with learning more about the evolution and growth of understanding in the study of your focused disorder.
The Diagnostic Statistical Manuel (DSM) is currently in it’s 5th Edition, with the first publication dating back to 1952 and the most recent revision published in 2013.
Many of the disorders outlined in the DSM-I have changed significantly since then.
This written report will require you to note some of the more significant changes in the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of your focused disorder (Bipolar Disorder).
