This is individual
work. The purpose of this journal
article review is for the student to use evidence-based practice (EBP) research
and appraisal of existing evidence, analyze an issue related to the nursing
care of the aging population and the development of a solution to their
specific issues. Select an article on gerontological condition or Healthy
People 2030 – Older Adult Objectives (listed below). Then locate an article(s) regarding the
current treatment and nursing practice for the disease from a scholarly nursing
journal, for example Advances in Aging Research.
Textbook: Section 4: Promoting Health in
Chronic Illness
Review Healthy People 2030 Objectives (Healthy People 2030 |
health.gov) for Older Patients (under setting and
systems), then identify the objectives.
Instructions: The paper must be in APA 7th
edition format, with citing and references less than five years old. Use accurate information from at least three
(3) peer-reviewed journal articles and a minimum of one scholarly reference
from Healthy People 2030 or the Center for Disease Control. Textbook
information may also be used as a source but does not count as a reference.
