Assignment Description Problem solving and conflict resolution are essential ski

Assignment Description
Problem solving and conflict resolution are essential skills to have in today’s workforce. Case studies allow learners to evaluate scenarios and implement their own suggestions using critical thinking in real-world situations. In these assignments, you will apply what you have learned in the first weeks of the course to create your own argument.
The final paper will develop from course readings, your own research, and feedback from classmates and instructor. Your work will be assessed on your ability to follow instructions, clarity of the argument, citation of historical theories, persuasive presentation, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Directions
You will write one paper, which makes claims about what you think a person should do who has an ethical dilemma as specified in a case study. Use what you have learned by your reading, class discussions, and responding to feedback from your classmates. Provide citations as required to strengthen your argument.
The paper shall follow the outline format provided below. Your paper must be typed and between 1200-1500 words in length. Please indicate the total number of words at the end of the document. Word count shall include headings and questions, but not the instructions in italics. Do not include the instructions in your paper.
Submit your paper in the appropriate assignment drop box (located in the Weekly Module Folder).

What is my claim? What should this person do?
What would you do? Be prepared to defend your claim.
Why is my claim ethical?
Your reasons explaining your decision should be consistent with a particular ethical theory given in the text and cited below. Your reasons should address why your claim is ethical. Do not include reasons such as, “It would hurt my reputation” or “It would cost me money.” These may seem like compelling reasons to you, but they do not address the question of ethics.
What ethical theory supports my claim and why?
Use one or more of the theories discussed in the text or class that support your claim. Provide citations as required. Citations acknowledge the contributions of others and give your argument more credibility.
Qualifications
Do I acknowledge alternatives, complications, objections, and how do I respond? Careful readers will question your argument, so you should anticipate as many of their questions as you can, and then respond to the most important ones. Provide citations as appropriate. This will give your argument more credibility.
Case study questions
Type any and all of the questions given at the end of the case study. Answer all of the questions. Your answers should be consistent with your reasoning presented in your ethical claim (argument).
