In this class, the big project is writing a research proposal. The finished Research Proposal will be about 10-15 pages long. This project is a major part of your grade and is worth about 38% of it. The goal of this assignment is to teach you how to plan and write a research study.
Here’s what to include in your final paper and the order to follow.
Combine all these sections into a single narrative paper. Make sure to include all the sections, even if they were not submitted. You are encouraged to use the feedback that you received on the individual assignments throughout the semester before adding them to this narrative.

A title page is required for all APA Style papers. There are both student and professional versions of the title page. Students should use the student version of the title page unless their instructor or institution has requested they use the professional version. Abstract
Write a brief summary of your proposed research.
The abstract should be no more than 250 words.

Students should select a research question from the list below that you would like to investigate via your research proposal.
1 – What is the impact of sports participation on personality development in children?
2 – What is the relationship between goal setting and performance in sports?
3 – What is the relationship between stress level and athletic injury?
Hypothesis Statements (Assignment 2.4)
You will make hypothesis statements for the research question that you chose in assignment 1.3. You need to write three research hypotheses: (1) a directional research hypothesis statement; (2) a non-directional research hypothesis statement; (3) a null hypothesis statement.
Literature Review (Assignment 3.7)
Introduction:
Start with an example, a quote, a statistic, a question, a fact, or an opposing opinion to grab your reader’s attention.
Introduce the question you chose earlier in the module and include the hypothesis statements you wrote before.
Use concrete language and specific examples to make your introduction interesting.
Conclude the introduction with a strong statement that makes us think or understand your project better and want to read more.
Body of the Review:
Write about the main topics or questions from each source.
List the important points or findings from each source under the main topics.
Arrange the topics and points in a logical order.
Methods (Assignment 10.3)
Include the following information in your methods section:

Describe where and with whom you will carry out your study.
Specific Methods:
Explain the methods you will use to accomplish your research goals. Choose a method from Module 5 or Module 6.
Justification:
Explain why these methods are the best choice for your study.
Results Collection and Analysis:
Discuss how you will collect, analyze, and interpret the results.
Projected Timeline (Work Plan):
Provide a timeline detailing when each part of the study will be done.
Potential Difficulties and Limitations:
Discuss any challenges you might face, like time pressures, validity issues, human subjects concerns, or specific issues related to your study.

Define the Population: Decide who you want to study.
Choose the Sampling Method: Pick a method like random sampling, stratified sampling, or convenience sampling.
Determine the Sample Size: Decide how many people you need for your study.
Determine a Timeline: Provide a timeline detailing when each step of the sample selection process will be completed.

Make sure to list all the articles used in your paper correctly with the author’s name, title of the article, where it was published, and the date – following APA format.
