Write the first version of Paper 3, a “traditional argument” that argues Position B of your selected issue (the opposite position/thesis that you argued in Paper 2). Position B appears on your approved outline presented in “Pre-writing Exercise 3.” The goal of this paper is to convince readers that Position B is true, as developed by main points and subpoints that offer reasons why or how the thesis is “true” and which incorporate documented evidence and logical explanations as support.
This assignment represents your first attempt to write the complete Paper 3 assignment (not just part of it), in keeping with the required structure outlined below. By the due date (see “Calendar”), post “Paper 3 – First Version” to Canvas and email a copy to each of your Writing Partners. You should not submit the final version of this paper until you have received feedback from your writing partners and revised your first version based on that feedback.
