Format your report like a business memo:

The header should use traditional memo heading (See
Purdue OWL for example);
o
The subject line should include the words “English
1302 Final Report”;
o
The report should be less than one page
single-spaced; and
o
Type it in 11-12 pt. font.

Organize your report in multiple paragraphs that
each focus on a main idea; do not turn in a document that is only one single
paragraph

Describe what you have done so far in this class
and, importantly, how you would evaluate the work you have done
·
Describe how you have managed your workload with
the course pacing, including textbook assignments, process work, and major
assignments
·
Describe one course-specific writing goal that
has been challenge for you this semester, and how you have or plan to overcome this
challenge
·
Describe one course-specific writing goal that
you have had success with this semester, and reflect on how you may use this in
your future studies or profession
·
Describe any writing goals you have for future
courses and how you plan to accomplish them (including things you will continue
doing or things you will seek to improve)
Progress reports typically cover the current state of a
project or effort, describe the remaining steps required to complete the
project, provide a timeline for achieving those goals, explain any obstacles
that have been overcome, and raise any questions or concerns that need to be
addressed.
In this document, you will need to explain how you would
assess your progress in the course and how you navigated the pacing of the
course, as well as discuss at least two specific course goals (see second page)
and any questions you have for your instructor.
