The purpose of this assignment is for students to investigate the state of current evidence on an issue significant to the discipline of Nursing. Suggested issues are evident in the Black textbook (i.e. ethical dilemmas, nursing informatics, future trends in nursing practice or education, communication, caring for culturally diverse clients, transition to practice, leadership roles, healthcare delivery, global health, home healthcare, etc.) but students are not limited to these issues. For example, Bullying within the workplace, Nursing Burnout, Staffing Shortage, etc.Students must receive approval from their professor early in the semester so be prepared with several possible issues. The expectation is that the student will narrow the focus of one of the broader issues mentioned above and then identify at least three articles in the peer-reviewed nursing databases to gain a better understanding of the issue. The final paper should be three-to-four pages (excluding the title page and reference page), double-spaced, 12-point font, 1-inch margins and follow APA guidelines for grammar, format, and citations.
Identify three references that you would like to use for your nursing issue paper. These references should be from nursing journals such as The American Journal of Nursing.
