Two written progress reports from each team are due in D2L. This report should show proof of progress. Reports should include (at minimum) the following sections:
Team information (names, each member’s responsibilities)
Team objective
Summary of progress to date (accomplishments, research/information gathered)
Major issues or concerns
Goals (tasks to be accomplished)
Supplemental materials (drafts of materials, e.g. survey instrument, financial statements, marketing plan, etc.)
Final Project and Presentation
The purpose of this project is to help the client’s implementation success probability. This is done through assessment and recommendations that have technical merit. The final project format will vary based on the client’s needs and team strategy. The final report should, at minimum, include a well-designed cover page, a table of contents, and an executive summary, followed by the full report that is approximately 10-12 pages long including the following.
(1) Client Name; Summary of their business/industry; Client mission, vision, strategic goals
(2) Description of the client’s HR performance issue
(3) Itemization of the needs assessment, and outline how you collected data on the problem
(4) Recommendation of solutions based on the findings of needs assessment
(5) Tools to help your client implement the solution(s)
Bonus (5) points can be gained by the team by providing
Two items of Practical HR Business Relevance: inclusion of at least a brief section discussing the practical business relevance of the project. This should be achieved by utilizing business news articles (i.e. SHRM or Wall Street Journal)
