This is an 8 to 10-page research paper that explores a topic from the list below. The length of the paper does NOT include title page and reference page(s). Use at least 4 references, preferably professional journal articles. Textbooks are not included in your reference count. The majority of your references should be no older than 2016. The more recent your information, the better. Your history section may contain older references. Paper will be written in APA style and use correct spelling and grammar. Note: The new APA edition does not require abstracts or running heads for student papers. Select ONE of the four categories listed. Physical and invisible wounds categories have more than one topic. If you choose one of these categories, focus on ONE topic within that category.

TOPIC- Invisible Wounds (PTSD)

2. History and current status of the issue. Be sure to include: a) a definition or explanation of the issue you selected and examples; b) the scope and prevalence of this issue in the military (stats and background information); and c) any additional factors surrounding the issue.
3. Describe significant consequences/challenges of this issue for the military member and family. Consequences are the results of the injury; challenges are the difficulties service members and their families face as a result of the injury. If it helps, you can think of these challenges from logisitical, economic, and interpersonal perspectives. Discuss at least four (4) consequences/challenges.
4. Interventions and services available to help military member and families with this issue. Identify two (2) that focus on individual intervention and two (2) that focus on family intervention.
5. Describe at least two (2) roles social workers perform when assisting clients/families with this type of situation.
