Not counting the Title Page and the References page, this paper will be at least

April 29, 2024

Not counting the Title Page and the References page, this paper will be at least seven (7) full pages long. Six pages and a partial seventh page is not seven full pages and points will be deducted for incompleteness.
Formatting:
1.      The format of this paper is APA 7th Edition. You will be provided a template to use, which must be filled out with your correct information, i.e. unique title, headings, name, etc.
2.      Sections prescribed for the paper are:
a.      Introduction – This section allows you to give a one to two paragraph introduction to your theory, i.e. how is it defined and other basic information that you see throughout your research.
Research – This section is the main body of the paper. Here you will write about what you have found in your study of the topic. I want to read your synthesis of the material. While there will be appropriate times to use quotes from the references, the majority of your writing, approx. 95%, should be your own phrasing. This section is not a copy and paste of the interview assessment form. It is a written out exposition of comparing your person to the research of the chosen developmental theory.
b.      References – 5 academic references, properly cited according to APA 7th Edition.
3.      Margins should remain at 1 inch on all four sides.
4.      Font is to remain Times New Roman 12, double-spaced.
5.      First person statements, “I think…” or “I believe that…” are not allowed.
6.      All words must be spelled correctly, and all sentences and paragraphs must be constructed appropriately. Writing errors in spelling, syntax, plurality, verb tense, grammar and so forth will result in a reduced score. You might consider having someone else edit your paper, or consult the RSC writing lab for assistance, located in the Humanities building.
References:
1.      You will be required to properly reference at 5 academic sources. Wikipedia is not an academic source. Pop-Psych and blogs are not academic sources. The library can help you find hardcopy books, academic journals, or help you to use online academic search engines such as EBSCOhost, ERIC, JSTOR, Google Scholar, etc.
2.      These references must be properly cited both in-text and in the reference section at the end, all conforming to APA guidelines.
