You find yourself in one of those arguments where the other person is being extremely disrespectful and condescending. The topic is one that you are up-to-date on because it’s important to you, and the other person doesn’t seem to care about the topic and just wants to argue.
Of the options you have available right now, you come up with three:
Continue the argument as it’s going now;
Confront the other person about being a dishonest player; or
Walk away from the argument after telling the other person to have a nice day (and meaning it).
Tell me which option you are picking and explain why you feel that may be the most ethical solution for you at the time.
None of the three actions are wrong, however, be careful as you explain your action.
Finally — make sure to follow the Formatting Guidelines.
They are to be written in a word processing program (e.g. Microsoft Word) and saved as .docx, .rtf, or .txt formats. I will not accept them if they are submitted in any other format (including .pdf). I will also not accept assignments submitted typed in the text block within D2L.
