The details on the court observation paper are below, and the summary document is attached. To be clear, the paper should be two parts:
(1) the summary of the case; and
(2) the reflection paper.
(1) Watch an archived livestream of a Kansas Court of Appeals oral argument (approximately 30 minutes total) from January or April of 2020. Link here:

(2) Find and read the court’s opinion in the case.

(3) Complete the summary section in the attached document.
(4) Write a reflection paper detailing your reaction to the court observation experience. Consider and address all of the following questions: Was it as you expected, or different? Did you feel the parties argued their positions well? Do you agree with the outcome? The paper should be at least one page long, double-spaced, Times New Roman font, and in 12-point size.
I have also attached my original paper and below is what she says is missing:
Substance: Does the paper address all questions posed? 12.5 (It does not appear that you reviewed the appellate court decision and included the outcome of that decision in your summary/reflection, and you did not complete the summary section.)
Quality and depth: Does the paper provide meaningful and thorough responses? 15 (Your paper generically talks about a criminal trying to find a loophole, but does not provide an explanation of the loopholes or the legal issues at play.)
Proofreading and formatting: Does the paper meet the formatting requirements? Does the paper contain appropriate spelling, punctuation, and grammar? 20
Flow: Does the paper appear cohesive and well-planned? 20
I also attached the sample court observation file she asked us to follow as a guideline
