Examine how multiple dimensions of identity, such as race, gender, class, and sexuality, intersect to shape individuals’ experiences of privilege and oppression.
A. Define and explain the principal logic of intersectionality (cite appropriate authors and works).
B. Consider and discuss how intersectionality approach provides broader view of social inequality than simply applying a single dimensional analysis.
C. Identify your unique gender experience of intersectionality related to large social issues. (large social issues such as housing segregation, standardized tests in education, redlining in financial institutions, etc.) Discuss how intersecting identities shape experiences of privilege and oppression.
Format of the paper
The assignment should be abstract page, and minimum three-page long and maximum five-page long. It must be typed, double-spaced, and 12-point font. You must upload the assignment to Canvas.
The file format must be the Word file (docx) or PDF.
