You are to watch or read (text of the full State of the Union address is usually released and available via all of the major news outlets a few hours before the speech is given) the State of the Union Address by President Biden, which is scheduled to occur on Thursday, March 7, 2024. The speech will be carried live on all of the cable news stations, CSPAN, local ABC, NBC, and CBS affiliates. Additionally, you should be able to stream the State of the Union on all of the major news outlets’ websites, YouTube, WhiteHouse.gov, Facebook, and Twitter.
After watching or reading the address, you are to create an infographic that focuses on one of the major policy initiatives mentioned by President Biden. You can use Canva or another template you are able to find online to address the following items:
A brief background of the initiative
The impact the policy (you have selected) will have on America as a whole
How the policy will personally impact your life and identity(ies)
Whether or not you believe the policy is attainable in the next five years? Why or why not?
Whether or not you believe the policy is a good policy for America? Why or Why not?
