Introduction: In the past decade the notion of false confessions has become a popular topic or rhetoric among law enforcement critics and civil rights advocates but what is the truth of the matter? What is the actual percentage of false confessions by statistics and do those numbers support the notion that false confession convictions has become an epidemic?
The Assignment: For this lab research the notion of false confessions and then take a side of the debate and argue for/against false confessions as being a problem. I am not going to provide any starter ideas because I want to see your opinion supported by research in this matter.
