Ethical Scenarios Capstone Project Part 2- Critique
Students will:
1. Use the Ethical Scenario Booklet assigned to you on Monday of Week 13, to create a separate document for your critiques of the ethical scenarios.
2. Each new critique will begin on a separate page in the document.
3. At the top of each critique, you will clearly list in bold print the number and title of the scenario you are critiquing, in the following format (Critique of Ethical Case Scenario 1- Counselor Bob thinks his client is pretty).
4. Each critique is to be a minimum of 2-3 pages long and include the following headers: Main Ethical Dilemma, Hypothetical Counselor’s solution to the ethical dilemma, state which room the Hypothetical Counselor is working out of with their solution (romantic, professional counseling room) Critique of the Solution and Alternative Choice, and why the choice the critic presents is a more ethical choice. Please note, even if the solution the Hypothetical Counselor made is ethical, there is always
room for improvement on choices or additional approaches to take. The student will share those additional approaches in their critique.
5. Critiques are to be 12-point font, Times New Roman, Double Spaced, with no grammatical or spelling errors and include a cover page.
6. At least 2 citations from course material are required to support the student’s critique.
