This Policy Brief will include actionable recommendations to an existing policy to positively impact healthcare. Recommendation will be informed by a literature review of the recently published (within last 5 years) scholarly evidence available on the subject.
For this assignment, you will address a health promotion activity in the context of a health policy brief that affects a population of your choice.
please note that a policy brief, similar to an academic paper, will include heavier use of peer-reviewed articles and data from government or highly regarded agencies, rather than textbooks or informed websites to support the author’s idea. Effective policy briefs utilize current, scholarly research evidence to persuade stakeholders.
