For our Final project we will work in teams of three to four students (assigned by the Professor).
Component One (Outline and Team State of the Nation Report)
In your assigned teams, write at least one full-page report on the State of the economy. In your team report;
Discuss how economic indicators have fluctuated and identify sectors (or industries) to pay attention to over the next quarter.
Thoroughly explain why your team thinks these sectors (or industries) are areas to pay attention to over the next half of the year.
In the conclusion, explain whether your team thinks we are in a good position as an economy (and why) or if there are worries that lie ahead (and why there is concern).
Thoroughly explain why your team believes either perspective
Additional Context
Complete a detailed Outline identifying the topic and main points that will be covered within your Team State of the Nation Report
Outline must be clearly labeled and consistently formatted
Reference supporting articles and cite research, supporting your teams outlook and speculated conclusion on the state of the economy.
Each team member will be required to contribute a minimum of three articles of research supporting the review of the economy.
Component Two (Overview of Company analysis)
On a new page, each team member will provide a review of each of their selected companies (Microsoft for us)explaining how the economy has impacted each company.
In your review, explain how each company has been impacted by the economic turmoil over the past few months of monitoring.
Reference supporting articles and cite research detailing how the economic turmoil may have impacted the company and supported or hindered future initiatives
Identify company specific economic indicators to watch over the next few months.
